Part 5 is of more strange things!

So first of all, Nurse Joy looks adorable.
But why is her hat bitten into and bloody? Also, this is the part where I question why the trees are bloody, there are barbed wire fences, and bloody bear traps? And how did she hear what happened with Cheren?
Nurse Joy gives you a PETA video of sad animals. And Pikachu says if you take it to Global Terminal, it can save Pokemon!! ... How? I didn't watch more than 6 seconds of the video, but I assume there is nothing about sad Pokemon in there, so how does it help Pokemon?
The next is of Professor Juniper and I am wondering how SHE found out about what they said to Cheren. Who is spreading the word so fast?
And right next to that she looks awesome: like she just realized her wrongs or they just stole her soul or something. But anyway, how did Pikachu know she had his friend? How did they become friends? Is it just a "we're all tortured Pokemon" thing? And what are "the reasons" that Pokemon exist for, because this line is stated by Nurse Joy and anytime you beat a boss.
